Die Hard

So I was going to write about the tournament and players I'd like to see in purple and orange next year. Then the Suns went into Die Hard mode and have put together a win streak in the face of being a lottery team.

I love points. I love the exciting finishes. I'm loving the bench guys making plays. I look forward to watching my team play again.

The team has made me believe. It will beat Portland tonight, might beat Utah again Saturday, and will beat Sacramento on the 29th; and Dallas will lose to the Cleveland Have-a-Beers on Sunday. --Josh

I am saddened by the recent loses. I think that Suns need to make some big changes and I think we need to be really smart in this years draft. The 2010 off-season is going to be crazy and what teams do this year could be a really big deal. I think it's time you write that post...

Evan Turner is still my man in the draft. I'm pleased that Bickley has started saying dump Stoudemire and O'Neal this summer but keep Nash and Barbosa, instead of continuing to blather about "the end of an era." It is NOT the end of an era!--not until Steve Nash retires. --Josh

Something else on my mind is, should Jason Richardson stay? He's a good gunner and athlete, but is no Raja Bell on defense. Basically, getting him was like having Quentin Richardson back. Raja Bell and Boris Diaw were traded for him because they refused to adjust to the new system; now that the new system is gone, Richardson's position seems slightly awkward to me. And then there's his reprehensible act of extreme speeding with his unrestrained son in the car. Between those things, is his salary--Bell's and Diaw's combined--worth it?

The Suns need to get younger. I guess the two vets to come back are Nash and Hill. Other than that they can trade or give away the others. Shaq is not in their plans and he does not want to come back. He needs to go back to Miami.
